Businesses sign up for an account to offer instant quotes. Customers use a business's quote link to get a price. This policy covers both, but the roles differ: for customer enquiry data, the business you contacted decides how that data is used, and QuoteLens processes it on their behalf. For business account data, QuoteLens decides.
From businesses: business name, login email, phone or WhatsApp number, the products and prices you configure, and account activity.
From customers: the name, phone number, location and (if provided) email address you enter to receive a quote; the measurements and product options you choose; and any photo you take or upload.
If you take or upload a photo, it is used to estimate the dimensions of what you are quoting and is saved with your enquiry so the business can see what you asked about. Photos are stored on our infrastructure and shared with the business you contacted. To estimate measurements, the photo is sent to Google's Gemini service. You do not have to use a photo — every quote can be completed by entering measurements manually.

We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising. When you request a quote, your enquiry details are shared with the business you contacted — that is the point of the service.
Enquiry data, including photos, is kept for as long as the business that received it keeps its account, unless they or you ask us to delete it. Business account data is kept while the account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards.
You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Businesses can delete their account, and everything in it, from the dashboard. Customers who submitted an enquiry do not have an account — to have your enquiry deleted, write toquotelensapp@gmail.com or contact the business you sent it to, as they hold their own copy.

Data is stored with access controls and encrypted in transit. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect what we hold.
QuoteLens is intended for businesses and their customers, and is not directed at children.
